Water Lily Cafe – our community cafe in Christchurch
The Water Lily Project (WLP) took over the running of Water Lily Cafe (formerly Bailey’s Café). It is run by volunteers and overseen by our Café and Hospitality Manager Emma Whitney.
The café can be used as a training facility for women in our care, many of whom have very low self-esteem and limited cooking skills. Here they can gain their Food & Hygiene certificates and build their confidence through hospitality skills.
The café is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm (Reduced Menu From 1.45pm). We have a wonderful selection of food at low prices with home-made Meal Deal specials every week for a two course meal for £7 .

We have seating outdoors and indoors. Phone us to reserve a table.
Pay It Forward
Donate just £5 to provide a homeless person with a hot meal. We then put a marble in a jar so we know how many meals we can give out.
