The Water Lily Project (WLP) took over the running of Bailey’s Café from Richmond Fellowship in 2014. It is run by volunteers and overseen by our Café Volunteer Supervisor, Tracy White who joined as a part-time member of staff in September 2018.
The café can be used as a training facility for women in our care, many of whom have very low self-esteem and limited cooking skills. Here they can gain their Food & Hygiene certificates and build their confidence through hospitality skills. We also provide a FREE meal for our women once a week at the café during which they are supported by local Christian befrienders, who get alongside them as a listening ear or offer practical support such as form filling or escorting women to the Foodbank, court etc.
The café is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 1:30pm. We have a wonderful selection of food at exceptionally low prices. Click Here to download our latest menu.
Pay It Forward
Donate just £4 to provide a homeless person with a hot meal. We then put a marble in a jar so we know how many meals we can give out.
