The Water Lily Project is indebted to its amazing volunteers who help keep us afloat and allow us to continue to support vulnerable women in Christchurch and the surrounding areas back to independent living. A huge thank you to you all during Volunteers Week 2021. Our community cafe crew, our IT and admin volunteers who help behind the scenes, our gardener and handyman plus the Christian befrienders for our beneficiaries – we really couldn’t do it without you.
During the pandemic, our volunteers were incredibly supportive to the lonely and isolated in our community – offering companion calls and delivering craft kits to help relax those feeling anxious, not to mention the numerous online Zoom sessions – quizzes, coffee mornings, socials. Time to say thank you from The Water Lily Project.
