About Us
Water Lily Project is a small Christian charity dedicated to supporting women from across BCP at some of their hardest times, including escaping domestic violence and with mental health challenges. Our community café, Water Lily Café provides a safe place for beneficiaries and the local community. We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Manager to lead and support our staff and trustees.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who can maintain the charity’s overall vision, ethos and mission.
Responsibilities
Provide Christian operational leadership
Finance oversight, monitoring, budgets, cash flow, overseeing banking activities and preparing monthly financial reports
Grants’ management including identifying funding opportunities, making applications to grant funders and monitoring grants
Manage referrals and work allocation to Support Workers
Ensuring compliance with Charity Commission, HMRC and Pensions Regulator
Build relationships with local churches
Manage Water Lily social media accounts and website
Lead termly Prayer Meetings for supporters and trustees
Supervision of Training Manager and Café Manager
Prepare Agenda, Reports and Minutes for Trustees’ Meetings
Assist with maintenance of premises
